About the Artists:
Join Ellyn Marsh and Joey Taranto for an on-stage performance of their hit true crime and comedy podcast “I Think Not! Live – The Drove All Night Tour.” Join them as they recap an episode of one of their (and your!) favorite true-crime TV shows.
Ellyn thinks that being on stage with her best friend, Joey is basically just like a Tuesday night in her living room. After opening the Broadway show “Kinky Boots” with him they unfortunately have way too much dirt on each other and are in it for life at this point. As co-hosts of the true crime podcast “I Think Not,” Ellyn and Joey take great pleasure in making you laugh through the pain and then giving you a little bait and switch in your feels. She also appeared on Broadway in Pretty Woman; Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, and some plays (who sees those?). Ellyn recently was seen in the Disney movie Better Nate Than Ever and can be heard as a singing troll in Frozen. She’s bringing all of her musical theater references to the world of her other passion, true crime!  Ellyn can also be heard on “Shut the F*ck Up Nick Lachey,” a “Love is Blind” recap podcast, with fellow Broadway superstar, Daisy Eagan.
Joey is beyond excited to be playing with Ellyn on stage again. Wait, that sounded… you know what? Never mind. After years of working together on Broadway, the two decided they weren’t quite done bothering the general public — and thus, I Think Not was born. Together, they’ve lovingly cultivated their own brand of “stupid” and enjoy squawking into your ears. Joey made his Broadway debut in Rock of Ages, followed by the original companies of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark and Kinky Boots. Joey is also thrilled to be attached to Cyndi Lauper’s new Broadway musical, Working Girl, premiering its first performances at La Jolla Playhouse in fall 2025. He’s appeared in BROS, Chrissy Judy (an official selection of OutFest 2022), and Jesus Christ Superstar Live on NBC. Oh and in a true plot twist, he once played a cop on Blue Bloods, which… LOL. These days, Joey feels lucky to work with his best friend every day. Recapping true crime cases and bringing attention to these stories is something he doesn’t take lightly. His hope is that with every episode, we can laugh together, cry together, and stretch our capacity for empathy. Because there’s power in numbers — and if we’re all looking out for each other, that’s a step toward real change.
